Enjoy a relaxing, creative day painting a colourful abstract floral display to take home. You will use water-based paints to complete a painting within a day to take home and display right away. You will have the opportunity to work with acrylic paints, inks, water-soluble crayons, water-soluble oil pastels, pencils and crayons and work with different brushes, stretched canvases and sketching paper.

This is Kathy Nettles second time exhibiting and teaching at RHS Rosemoor – she previously taught a two-day creative workshop with us in 2023.

Kathy is a Devon-based artist and enjoys creating vibrant paintings that are a fusion of abstraction and realism. She works primarily in oil and cold wax on board and canvas, taking inspiration and joy from the nearby moorland, which is evident throughout her artwork. Kathy opened her art studio in 2018 and developed her artistic voice at the prestigious Newlyn School of Art in Cornwall. She has exhibited locally in Devon and Cornwall, and further afield.
