Potentilla

RHS Genus Guide
Potentillas are undemanding but rewarding plants for sunny, well-drained sites. Whether as shrubs or perennials, they produce saucer-shaped, single or semi-double flowers in a broad range of colours from spring to autumn, peaking in summer. Shrubs make informal hedges or useful infill in borders. The herbaceous perennials suit edges at the front of borders, and the dwarf species among them can decorate rock gardens.
