Arriving by road

We welcome car-free visitors to RHS Flower Show Wentworth Woodhouse. It’s easy to reach us by train, bus, bike and foot. Plan your car-free journey at 

Arriving by taxi/Drop off and pick up
Please use postcode S62 7TQ to get you to the local area and then follow the yellow traffic signs for RHS Flower Show parking - Drop off / Pick Up area. 
Arriving by coach

If coming via a privately booked coach, the coach will drop you off in the bus drop off and pick up area. The nearest entrance is a 2–3-minute walk from here. 

Arriving by public transport
There are free shuttle buses that run from Meadowhall Interchange to and from the show from stand C3 between 9.20am-6pm. These are free of charge but must be booked in advance. 
  • From Meadowhall Interchange, trains run from Sheffield, Leeds, Lincoln, Doncaster, Barnsley, Huddersfield, Manchester, Warrington and Liverpool. 
  • Several local bus services travel through Meadowhall Interchange such as the 207/ X3 / 137 / 77 / 77a / 65 / X1 / X2 / X17 / 18 / 18a / 75 / 75a / 76. 
  • Trams and supertrams services also run via Meadowhall Interchange.

Access to showground and buildings

Temporary walkways are laid in some areas of the show which are wheelchair accessible. The show takes place on parkland, so some areas have uneven terrain and ground conditions may not be ideal, especially in inclement weather.

For access through the house, there is an access ramp on the west showground that is wheelchair accessible. 

Inside the house, ground floor access is wheelchair accessible, and the first floor is wheelchair accessible via a lift.

Assistance dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome in all areas. Water bowls for dogs can be found at both visitor information points.
Accessible ticket bookings
While the RHS is not able to provide carers, entry is provided for one carer free of charge accompanying those visitors whose disability necessitates their support. This ticket must be requested at the time of ticket purchase.

At a glance: when you arrive

Parking

For this show, there will be onsite parking and park and ride car parking available.

  • Onsite parking: This is free of charge but must be booked in advance. To access the onsite accessible parking follow signs for RHS Flower Show Accessible Car Parking. Please ensure your blue badge is displayed when parked. 

  • Park and ride parking: A park and ride parking and shuttle bus will operatre from Meadowhall Shopping Centre (S9 1EP). This is free of charge but must be booked in advance. Shuttle buses will operate from Meadowhall Shopping Centre to the show every 15-20 minutes and accessible buses will operate every 30-45 minutes. 

Mobility vehicles and wheelchairs

Visitors are welcome to bring their own personal mobility scooters or wheelchairs to help them get around. We also have a small number of mobility vehicles and wheelchairs available to hire. Please book these with your tickets in advance to guarantee availability, or call 0344 338 8222 to book.

Costs: £20 for wheelchairs and £40 for mobility scooters. Please collect from the mobility equipment collection tent, located outside the North Gate entrance.

Toilets

Accessible unisex toilets are located at all three toilet blocks. A HDU will be located at the toilet block by the North entrance. 

Hearing impaired

Hearing loops are installed in the main stage, the blooming ballroom and the potting bench. 

Visually impaired

Large maps can be found around the show. Large print maps can also be requested in advance please contact the Shows Customer Services Team at [email protected].

Quiet space

A quiet space will be available. It will be situated outside the front of the house beside the visitor information point.
