The prestigious RHS Medals and Awards are handed out as the show opens. Take a tour of the gardens and see if you agree with the judges. The People’s Choice vote opens at 10am on the first day, so you can have your say.
There are several judged categories across the show, each with their own set of criteria. Show gardens represent the pinnacle of garden design, and Young Designer gardens challenge designers at the start of their careers.

If you are looking for inspiration for your beds at home, take a stroll down Long Borders Avenue. Every design is packed with exciting plant combinations, each with a different take on a shared theme.
Take a tour of the Floral Marquee and see some of the incredibly exhibits awarded RHS Medals. The Master Grower takes pride of place among the many specialist growers offering their advice along with their lush plants.

Make a bee-line for the Flower School where fabulous floristry is on display. The creations of highly skilled floral artists are awarded RHS Medals for their displays which follow a shared theme.

It’s a food-lovers paradise at RHS Wentworth Woodhouse, with lots of choice of delicious street food from around the world available.
The Great Taste Market is a mecca for those who love to eat. With specialty cheeses, artisan bakes and homemade ingredients to take home.
Grow your own is celebrated at the show with the amazing Summer Fruit and Vegetable competition. If your courgettes get nibbled and your salads all bolt, look in envy at the produce of the dedicated growers awarded medals for their prize veg.
Digest the delicious day with a glass of something cool to the sound of the live music on the stage, in true summer festival style.
There’s something for every family member at the Show and lots of space for the little ones to run around. There’s even a special Secret Garden Trail for the kids (and their grown-ups) to follow.
Kids try their hands at garden design with the School Plots. Every year there is a theme for local schools to interpret in their own creative way. The beds are assessed by RHS judges and given their very own awards. A real show highlight.

The Floral Marquee hosts the Potting Shed Theatre, where growers share their expertise and discuss horticultural topics. It’s also where you can find the RHS Advice hub with experts on hand to answer all your gardening questions.
